If we understand a person"s motive, and we must also be sure that the motive(s) that we attribute are correct. One can only understand good oriented or value oriented action = rational action. A person committed society where magic prevails, might use magic to heal someone, which is seen by weber as magical rational action. Rational point of view of the society: maybe there are different magical ways to heal , so the witch doctor has to choose.
