Whether you realize it or not, it is part of our culture. The notion of losing your house because you"re sick is never even considered in canada medicare is commonly accepted in our culture. Welfare state, we"re between sweden and usa we"re a liberal-social- democratic welfare state. Large emphasis on cultural events, cultural media, arts etc. Many types of uniquely canadian symbols and things that are considered. Notion that we"re a large country (yet we use very little of it)
