Pornography: start with cameras where people would film themselves. Stalking: internet has enforced and enhanced stalking. Hate crimes: people don"t even realize what they are doing. Theft of services: stealing someone else"s wifi. Small- and medium sized business are major targets of enforcement. Judges don"t see them as real crimnals. Largely dependent on government administrators/inspectors: government cutbacks, complaint-based rather than proactive. Rcmp: focuses more on organized crime. Upper rocker: name of club, lower rocker: where it is, middle rocker: symbol. Structured organization, which systematically provides illegal goods and services. Food products, real estate, restaurants, garbage disposal, produce, garment manufacturing, bars and taverns, waterfront, securities, labor unions, vending machines. Illegitimate: gambling, bookmaking, narcotics, loan sharking, labor racketeering, extortion alcohol, kidnapping, smuggling. Profits and power, monopoly on illegal goods and services. Also involved in businesses that seem legitimate. Money laundering, land fraud, computer crimes, protection rackets. Does not include terrorists dedicated to social/political change.
