Looking at the start of life and the pressures involved. Last class, pressures and stresses in the work life. Today"s institution is the law how often violence is used as a response to stressors guest speaker: elder abuse ontario. No one agency to call if an elder is being abused. Onpea: ontario network for protection of elder abuse, now called elder abuse ontario back in 2002 the seniors of our society needed to be safe and respected strategy to combat elder abuse seeing the numbers increasing. Ontario strategy co-ordination of community services: to strengthen communities across the province by building partnerships promoting information sharing and supporting their efforts to combat elder abuse. Multi-sectoral training for front-line staff: training frontline staff from various sections, who work directly with seniors, a province wide initiative. Perceptions of seniors: the body builder, beauty queen or the old guys? attitudes towards seniors: our attitudes toward them.
