Each and everyone of us theorize every time we are trying to make sense of something or explain something, we engage in theory. Why do people act and think the way they do when their actions are considered outside the norm. Most of us would explain a piercing phenomenon with the psychology and of the people getting pierced. Sociologists would look at the sociological history and body piercing within a larger framework not attached to a product: ex. Many common sense notions turn out to be false. Common sense is what everyone knows, it is widespread, it is things we all. The fact that everybody believes the same thing, doesn(cid:495)t make it true: ex. False obviousness that research for proof is deemed unnecessary and a waste of time.
