Gatekeepers: individuals recognized as having special expertise in identifying problems and who control access to important people or services. Ex: doctors, teachers, politicians, police officers, lawyers, child welfare workers. Some special interests groups will work together if they have common interests. Involves change to produce a stronger and healthier adaptation. Not just making the best out of a situation but thriving in the face of adversity.
