History: where we are now is shaped by our society and culture and how sexuality is viewed over time, history is also multi-determined, depending on the changes that happen in its factors. For a long time, religion had a huge impact on how we perceive sexuality. We get to see how and why it dealt with it that way. We have initial research and understanding on how things were dealt with, differing with the society we are dealing with: quebecers are more open and permissive than others, research methods: looking back at documents. It is biased by what we have documented. The media will frame our history because we rely on what the media captured. Therefore we know more about certain things than others. Psychopathology was more looked at than health back at the time.
