The clitoris or the penis will differentiate into their unique structures in the 6th or 7th week of gestation. The cora is the root of the penis or clitorus which bonds to the public bone. Clitoris is the tip while the shaft and head are not visible. The clit has 3x the nerve endings of the penis. The clitoris retracts under its hood during sex or if it becomes too sensitive.
