Group therapy: a group with same problem, treated by same therapist at the same time. This allows earlier access to care, lower cost, social support, you learn from people who are ahead of you, and it relaxes individual that they are not the only one who has the weird feeling. Family therapy: in general, family is looked as unique/dynamic social system, not collection of individual. Meta-analysis: statistic procedure combined with large number of study & to analyze the study as 1 study that sees the trends in the data. Yes, scientific psychotherapy is effective, in 8w -50% got better. Evaluating alternative therapy: which psychotherapy works the best: emdr: established psychotherapy that is most financially great therapy.
