Triarchic theory: analytical (book smart, creative (thinks outside the box, practical (street smart, emotional intelligence (eq) Level of intelligence is necessary but not sufficient. Coming up with useful and adaptive ideas. Components of creativity: expertise, nonconformity, curiosity, persistence, visual imagery. Intrinsic motivation: positive effect, creative environment, the brain.
