Document Summary
Most studies of human sexual behaviour have been carried out by young adults (typically uni students) Males are much more interested in and accepting of erotica, casual sex, etc. The frequency of sexual activity decreases for males after early adulthood. Men carry on sex into their 70s. Middle aged men engage in extra marital affairs more often than females. Women 30-45 are more sexually active than women ages 18-26. Females have a marked loss of interest in sex in late 40s, early 50s (menopause) Almost all heterosexual men have had homosexual fantasies (80%) the other 20% are. 3-5% of men and 1% of women are gay lying. It"s very difficult to change sexual orientation, willpower nor psychotherapy are effective. Unusual parental relationships (dominant mother; ineffective-weak father) Early childhood peers (not same sex friends). We develop sexual relationships with those who are different. Genes- if 1 identical twin is gay, 50% likelihood that the other is gay.
