Humans can figure out own society for themselves, they are their own masters, nature of human provides answers to how things should be done. Pazzi chapel: mark of beginning of renaissance architecture. Life of thought and intellect broadened during period. Politics and political theory is about what we think is right for the human being in the end. Time of exploration/discovery, religious conquest, economic growth, population growth. World starting to look like modern world. Trading centres gaining significant amounts of power (bruges, venice, florence) Political outcomes become more internationally focused/driven - international trade. One of crucial goals of machiavelli"s politics.
