On the polis- analysis shows it as a community. Koinonia- anything shared or held in common, sharing or a partnership. Every community is established for some good. In each case the partners in the community are acting together in pursuit of some purpose of which they themselves approve. The true community will pursue the true good. Justice in its broadest sense includes all the moral principles which should govern people"s social behaviour. Distributive justice- governs the distribution of goods and benefits different members of the same group. Each partner"s share should be equal not in the sense of identical, but equal or proportionate to their rewards (ie equity vs equality) Members won"t be strictly equal, receive different treatment respective to their contributions. Equalize the relation between partners because you are rewarded for being the kind of human being that you are. There has to be a limit of inequality, must address them.
