Aesthetics judgement is something that is deeply felt from a personal point of vie: derived from pleasure specifically subjective pleasure. Yet the judgements aspires to universality and objectivity: not just me who finds this beautiful, when i make that judgement, that is my intention, that the beauty of this object is universal, everyone should share this feeling. There is a political aspect: politics = people living together and sharing in various communal structures. We"re implying that he judgment occurs outside the confines of our own personal views of what is pleasurable. Doesn"t happen one after the other, but they happen simultaneously: aesthetic judgement is a strange combination of pleasure and universal communicability. Understanding (concepts: imagination (intuitions) free play understanding (concepts, free play (pleasure + communicability = judgements) Aesthetic judgement is both objective (desire for universal communicability) and subjective (personally derived pleasure)
