Document Summary

Can"t achieve the goals of the action no matter how many times you try. Lots of quacks and scammers preying on the desperately sick. Doctors don"t want to seem like this. Just because we"re all the same species, doesn"t mean that we"re all equal. The moral claim for equality is valuative, not factual. Human ourishing = eudumonia: involves everyone doing what they"re best at and it will all t together. All people and all things are de ned by their function. What you do determines who you are and determines your value. Treat equal people equally and unequal people unequally. People are equal in their differences: it"s our differences that make us of equal value. !1: everything comes together - the differences are important in the grand scheme of things. We are naturally moral beings, we have free will and reason. Treat as all people as ends and never only as means.
