Quining qualia - daniel dennett: properties and qualia, the inverted spectrum problem, the brainstorm/mind need experiment, intrapersonal shifts qualia. 5. why 2 3 + 4 show the qualia theory is unverifiable unfalsifiable cannot tell if someone who has inverted spectrum or no. How are they defined and what are their central traits (introduction and intuition pumps 1-2) "qualia" is an unfamiliar term for something that could not be more familiar to each of us: the way things seem to us. Due to philosophical jargon, it is easier to give examples than to give definition of the term. Look at a glass of milk at sunset, the way it looks at you - the particular, personal, subjective visual quality o the glass of milk is the quale of your visual experience at the moment. The way the milk tastes to you then is another gustatory, quale, and how it sounds to you as you swallow is an auditory quale.
