Prerequisites: mat 1341, (mat 1322 or mat 1325 or mat 1332). The courses mat 2384, mat 2324 cannot be combined for units. Equations, laplace transforms and numerical methods for engineers (avail- able at the photocopy centre) O ce hours: wednesday 14:30-15:30, or by appointment (e-mail me) Evaluation: if you score less than 40% on the nal exam, then your grade will be the grade of the nal exam only. If your score on the nal exam is at least 40%, then your course grade will be calculated as follows. 10% homework, 30% midterm exam, 60% final exam. The midterm exam will take place on november 8 during the lecture time. In the event of a change of schedule an announcement will be made in class and communicated via email at least one week in advance.
