Conflicts among stakeholders regarding uses of the park. Environmentalists interests are usually different than the rock climbers, or the people living next to it, business owners vs. tourists etc. Conflicts between humans and wildlife as well. Not one of the oldest parks in canada. Managed by the national capital commission (ncc) Have authority to do so through the national capital act. Almost all national parks in canada are managed by the national or provincial governments this makes this park unique. Urban proximity distinguishes it from other parks in canada.
