Selective reverse mutation- methods to reverse the mutation and try to make the cell work as it should be working. Gene therapy can help stimulate or inhibit gene regulation. Virus may turn on again and produce its effect in the body. Correct target cell is not always assured. Can disrupt the other vital genes insertional mutagenesis- replace a cell that is good at cell division (instead of the one it was suppose to target) later causing cancer.
