Immunity = the protection against infectious disease conferred either by the immune response generated by immunization or previous infection or by other non immunologic factorsa. k. a. body"s ability to resist infection. Non specific: innate immunity (or natural: skin - mechanical barrier. Lower temperature that is suboptimal for some bacteria.
