Mutli-issue politics: queer, trans, and disability activism: medicalization and stigmatization of bodies/desires- tobin (a read in course pack)- people with disability are portrayed as asexual or some how freakish in their sexual desires. And that all these people have similar histories of medicalization. Usually they have this idea that people who are on the abnormal side want to be on the normal side. There is never questions to people who are straight about why they are straight or if they just haven"t found the right queer person.
