Components of formal report: avoid including any supporting details, use direct or indirect approach as chosen. References lists the publication information, in alphabetical order, of all the sources consulted and/or quoted. Appendices set out additional material that couldn"t be discussed in the main body of the report but may be of interest to the reader. Reverse order of 2 and 3 for an indirect approach. Indicate the different sections of your report, eg. table of contents, executive summary, introduction etc.
