Both genders were responsive, co-operative, gentle and sensitive to others. Females were dominant, impersonal, rational, take sexual initiative. Males were submissive, more nurturing towards children, more emotionally dependent, less responsible. Biological and anatomical differences between males and females. Culturally and socially constructed differences between males and females found in the meanings, beliefs, and practices associated with femininity and masculinity.
