Relaively recent pracices: spaces and coninement diicult because of labor and abuse that occurred within them. Deptor"s prison: housed debtors individuals who were expected to remain incarcerated unil they could pay of their debts their family could either work of their debts. A place where debtors would be held as well as other individuals. Residence like condiions: barkeeper or room keeper.
