A relationship needs to be more than the relationship, becoming ritualistic and self- absorbed creates a mess. Be reminded of why you are in the relationship (friend, romantic). You are on the same team at the end of the day. A conflict exists because both parties cannot obtain their aim simultaneously. People often talk more during conflict than before.
