Deontology vs teleology: the universal declaration of human rights, having that declaration in place does this impose on any government or political leader or any political leader to avoid violating human rights. Without having a declaration of human rights, things could be worse and thats its value: we draft our code of ethics, but these ethics don"t come from the government and are no imposed on us. If the government imposed that on us, they"d be orders. Independence: accept nothing of value from news sources and avoid impropriety. Avoiding stereotyping and do not lie or fabricate.
