Triggering emotion: you remember things that cause you strong feeling, i. e weddings, babies, cute animals, song that is well known and brings back memories. Prob-solution: everyone has problems and some products solve them, works particularly well when the target audience has a big problem and a big concern, works better the larger the problem they have. Dramatic conflict: it"s always nice to have a resolution to the conflict, like a happy ending in the movies. Because dramatic conflict is essentially a way to engage viewers in your ad. Sex: sex works best when the product or service can honestly increase sex appeal (perfume, body wash, etc)
