Jargon, slang use language that is as clear and concise as possible. Prestige bias when you associate a question with a political figure or a celebrity, causing participant to respond to how they feel about the person instead of answering the question itself. Pb bias using trump in question despite research having no relation to him, resulting in favorable or unfavorable answers. Important for studies with high sensitivity e. g. certain people may not give accurate response because they do not want to identify with being a trump/hilary supporter. E. g. pollsters predicted u. s. election wrong because some people did not want to identify themselves with a certain candidate. Pew research center will call 75% of cellphones for surveys in 2016 (for u. s. ) Increased from 65% to 75% in an effort to preserve that survey samples are accurate and representative of the demographic.
