Kadmos (ancient greek values) vs. cadmus (roman: latin transliteration, almost any greek name can be correctly spelled 2 ways, but not every single one (solon would be the same) Aischylos aeschylus: he was one of the fathers of ancient greek tragedies. For tests and exams there is very often 2 correct spellings. The spine of greece can be described as the expansion of the balkan. They expand farther down and create islands as the bases of the mountains are covered by the ocean, they have traditionally created stepping stones to asia minor. The greek cities often tended to go against one another: there was a sense that the greeks all spoke the same language and worshipped the same gods, but they were only citizens to their cities, not to greece. There were different dialects between the cities, that augmented the sense of division between them. (dialects were doric, arcadian, iliac, ____)
