It begins with the wedding of peleus & thetis. Discordia (eris) is the only goddess not to be invited. So she makes a golden apples engraved for the most beautiful" to make the other goddesses fight. A catfight ensues between hera (juno), minerva (athena) and venus (aphrodite) to get the apple. Hermes asks paris to decide who the most beautiful girl is. Hera promises to make him the king of asia. Venus promises sex and marriage to helen of sparta (the most beautiful woman in the world and wife of king menelaus of sparta). Paris marries helen and takes her to troy. One of the trojans that escapes is aeneas (trojan general) and he eventually gets to. Near the tiber he creates a city called lavinium (after his wife). Ascanius wants to be a king so he founds his own city (alba longa) to be own king. Amulius is not, he is evil and wants to be king.
