Immune system responds to something (epitopes of molecules from pathogens) Some can get geographic tongue (white slime on tongue) Immune reactions happen at the site of contact. Family of chemicals called urushiols produce the reaction of blistering. Can transfer throughout body if you wash/touch the part infected and then touch uninfected area. Alternatives= nitrol gloves or thin cotton gloves to go under the latex gloves. Nickel alloys are common, gets added to many other metals/objects to make them tougher/stronger. Clear nail polish helps to prevent nickel reactions but adding protective coating. Not allergic to dust mite, but allergic to something in them. Mattresses can contain large amounts of skin droppings, dust mites sink into matress materials and live there. Animals lick themselves and leave saliva on their body. Lactase is available as a supplement to avid lactose that you cant digest.
