B p s 1 1 0 1 : d r u g s 1 0 1. The most common infection: outnumber all others 25-1, overwhelming odds are that you have a cold when you get sick, unusual to get a bacterial infection. More than 200 viruses cause colds: ex. Virus destroys tissue, immune system makes symptoms. There is no cure for the common cold: average cold lasts a week, some cold medications relieve symptoms. Don"t do anything to the virus or make it go away faster. They lessen the severity of your symptoms: many remedies do nothing. Doing something makes you feel better though it doesn"t do anything to help you (psychological factor: no medication will prevent colds. Experimented on humans: they would offer a free or cheaper vacation where they would do the experiment on you, carried out investigations as to how colds are transferred. Sneezing: sneezing does not spread colds very well.
