The more you buy the cheaper the unit cost. This may not be illegal, but it is unethical. Sometimes companies bring in consumers with their low prices, but convince them to upgrade and pay more money than indented. This is when a bunch of companies work together to keep the prices high. They agree to compete but with high prices, which would earn them a lot of profit. This is when two people who are in the same condition, get charged differently for the same product. This is when companies price their products to kill their competitors. Companies do this when they want to keep, or increase their market share. Consumers can benefit a lot from this, however it is illegal to do this. There are three components in the distribution chain. There may be more than one firm in each component. The supply chain is the network of firs involved in the flow of goods.
