A response to a drug is individual in nature confounding factors, such as internal and external stimuli influence how one reacts to a drug. When discussing drug interactions, this is regarding people taking multiple drugs simultaneously. Inhibition occurs when both drugs are working, but one drug hinders the ability for the other to function at its full capacity. Cross tolerance occurs when an individual builds immunity of a certain drug (over the course of your lifespan, some individuals are becoming antibiotic resistant)
