As sociologists, the main focus is on social phenomena. Sociologists focus on how social structures and processes shape groups, organizations, cultures, societies in which people exist. We cannot ignore the impact/effect of biological factors (ie. bodies & drives) Nature vs. nurture nature is biological and nurture is the knowledge/behavior developed through processes of being raised. Nature explains away some characteristics about gender (ie. men are aggressive more testosterone, or women are emotional more estrogen) People of colour & males are more likely to be imprisoned. Wages gap men should go to work because they earn more money.
