Combination of the person of the true score and the random error. High test-retest reliability able to predict the person"s score next time. Strongest correlation coefficient can best predicts one"s score. Bound from negative one to positive one. Deal with the issue of using multiple judges to perceive the same experiment. The greater the icc, the more inter-rater reliability. Problematic when you have bunch of items on a measure. Ensure that all the items are measuring the same thing. Looking at the possible correlations between all pairs of measures. Ex: 1 & 2, 1 & 3, 2 & 3, etc. If an item belong on a measure, the higher people score on that item will also score high on the measures. Use on putting a mc exam together. Whether the items of a measure look like it"s assessing the desired measure. Usually happens, but not a requirement of measures.
