Clinical level: series problems, requires professional intervention. Sub-clinical level: mild version, can manage every day society, but, maladaptive because aversive to others, people grow to despise them because of the way they treat others. Impulsive and callous: keep committing crimes, never learns, most of life spent in prison. Sub-clinical version: successful psychopath: milder or paired with a desirable attribute, has avoided prison so far, dark niches: bullies, nasty bosses. Clinical syndrome: sense of superiority, needs attention, constant bragging, feels entitled to superior treatment, could be secretly insecure compensating with excessive behaviour. When a lot of people worship you and spend all your days in contact with people who are telling you you"re amazing and great, you can gradually acquire this narcissism: destructive behaviour.
