The idea here is that humans are same as ice ages or asteroids hitting planet: we are the geological causes of earth change, when we change epics, geology changes, we are geology. People believe we are entering the 6th great extinction where like 75-90 of populated life will go extinct. Point is, all these debates don"t matter bc anthropocene has taken off and definitely has replaced vocab of ppl all over world. It is not about all humans it is capitalism. It is not all 6-7 bill people but only about 100 000 people at fault. Alfred crosby: exposed our ideas of traditional western world towards military conquest, exploration, colonized west frequently destroyed and brought up major ecological power. Species of world: complete removal of some species, and replacement . For example, rats, cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens clovery, honeybees Brouhgt in diseases that totally destroyed cultures all over world!
