Hoc, bill must be renegotiated: bill is either dropped or passed to governor general to be given royal assent. To enhance the ability of the hoc, moniters gov"ts, holds gov"t responsible: parliamentary officers. Auditor general: reports to public accounts committee (chaired by opposition)
