Both amphetamine & methylphenidate inhibit reuptake of da, ne. Amphetamine also promotes release of endogenous da, ne from synaptic vesicles. Both reduce core adhd symptoms in 75% of patients. Mix of 4 different amphetamine salts contains 75% d-amp, 25% l-amp.
