State claims to have legitimate monopoly over power. Politics is striving to take control of the state. Trying to become, find influence of leadership, of apparatus of power. A state can share ends with all sorts of political associations. But has an exclusive monopoly over use of violence. Politics is trying to be in charge of those who control this apparatus. What"s going on in the minds of people. Therefore, people are swayed by this personality. Some poeple may think one thing is a good policy, or others may just think it is how we do things . There is something in the legality itself that is legitimate. But then, a few generations later, there is just something that their children, or children"s children have always done. When you look at the world, you are thinking historically, and you wonder where this enormous amount of social interaction.
