Leydig cells make up 5% of cells in the testes there are ~500 million leydig cells in the testes. Development of male sex organs, prostate, seminal vesicles, spermatogenesis, sexual function. Larynx growth and voice deepening increases linear bon growth; also helps terminate bone growth and maintaining bone density. Induce and/or maintain pubertal development (including secondary sex characteristics)
