However, minor changes in climate seems to have occurred by analyzing the core samples. It proposed an explanation for the development of agriculture because not many others attempted an explanation at this. It got young archaeologists to explore the near east and do field research. We might not be able to find evidence of people moving towards oasis but we can look for evidence around the oasis. From the oriental institute of the university of chicago. Was active in his field in the 1950"s and 60"s. He believed the that shift to agriculture hd nothing to do with the climate whatsoever. Contrary to a dried-up region, he saw the near east as containing very favourable settings where they were rich in natural resources. this would be the place where plants were first domesticated.
