As adults we have a clear sense of self. This is how you pass the test. They should touch the mark on the mirror. As soon as they touch it on their cheek, they know it"s them. A bunch of people say that it could be too complicated to test (ex like piaget said for his experiments) The child doesn"t know its there, and it shows sense-of self. Results: children recognise its their foot and search for the sticker oexperiment 2: disguise the legs by putting baggy pants (with a sticker) on the kids while they are in the chair. > move them to the mirror -> see if they will touch their legs. Slide 8 - self concept, imitation, mental states back on -> put the sticker on the pants without them knowing -> put them in front of the mirror.
