Cognitive load-> mentally involved (high cognitive load == really busy, low cognitive load == little used & have access -ie. watching tv) Attention -> in order to have something in your memory, you had to have attend to that information. Divided attention -> poor memory -ie. student presentation is next so you are worrying about your own and remember very little of the next person. It is a reconstructive process -> rebuild that memory, and introduce error (build mistakes-> called omissions & insert random info called insertions, and retweak memory) Cognitive approach == information processing (like the mind & the computer).
