In this week"s lecture we discovered different types of suburbs and their history, and the changes in the inner suburbs in north america, which includes the immigrant trend, housing and reasons of the changes. The first suburb was very unique compared to other parts of the u. s. because it contained nearly 20% of the whole population. The inner-ring suburbs were established after wars are now declining in many locations. American"s first suburbs developed after the development of the city centres after the second. The population of suburbs was increasing in the 20th century while the population of cities was decreasing. There are over 70% of new immigrants settled in canada"s five largest metropolitan areas when they first came. Now more and more poor individuals choose to live i the suburbs, which is also the first reason of the declining of inner-ring suburbs poverty. The prices of properties in the suburbs change as time goes by.
