Denial: other cultures do not exist/are too abstract to understand . Defense: other cultures are scary us vs. them (see e. b. tylor and religion: reversal: other cultures have all the answers and we are all wrong romanticized (e. g. aboriginal culture) Minimization: we are all the same assumes everyone thinks the same way they do (e. g. all religions are based on the same thing ) Acceptance: i get it now seeing that a different culture has something to contribute.
