The criminal law and the criminal code of canada: Criminal code of canada (c. c. c) is a federal statute applied throughout canada. Criminal offenses fall into 3 general categories: (1) offences against public order and the good of the state (2) offences against the person: physically or his/her reputation (3) offences of a financial nature or against property.
