Dependent variables: measure by the researcher: specify the experimental plan: Two group design: one control group ( without cell phones) and an experimental group ( with cell phones) Muliple group design: one control group, muliple experimental groups ( hands free vs. non-hands free, look at each manufacturer) Factorial design: muliple independent variables, we want to look at all possible combinaions. > interacion efects: occur when the efect of one independent variable difers depending on the level of the other variable. Between subjects: design paricipants are involved with only a single part of the study. ( one of two groups in a two group design)
