Turkey: but the ypg have been supported by us (weapons and airstrikes) in their battle against isis. The geopolitical model of the state: ratzel: geopolitics, state behaves as biological organism, growth and change: natural, inevitable, power and territory. Inspired by hitler"s lebernsraum, where the space of the state grows with the (homogeneous) population. Boundaries and frontiers: boundaries, territory defined and enforced, conflict and competition managed, both sides pushing each other until boundaries are formed.
